Early in the exploration of Gem Cave, Chris Pelczarski and Rene Ohms found this well-decorated passage and hoped it would lead on to the rest of the cave. Going through the crawl felt like going through the “Cave Sim” cave simulator, which challenges cavers to navigate carefully through small and delicate passages without breaking any formations.
